NOASIS Live

OurKid Return to Derby for a SPEZIAL 30th Anniversary Show

The Old Bell Hotel is where it all began back in 1996.

Darren — the voice behind Liam Gallagher in OurKid — was the founding member of the UK’s very first Oasis tribute band, NOASIS. At the height of Oasis mania, when tickets to Knebworth, Maine Road and Wembley were almost impossible to get, Darren and a group of local lads decided to bring the music of Oasis to Derby themselves.

Working across Derby’s legendary Sadler Gate nightlife scene — including The Vines, Sadlers, Shakespeare, The Bell and Seymours — the band rehearsed for months in the disused rooms of The Old Bell Hotel. When they finally put their first show on sale, it sold out within days.

More than 500 screaming fans packed into the venue — bucket hats, parkas and pure Britpop chaos. That was the beginning.

Fast forward 20 years and Darren emigrated to Australia, where he continued performing and growing NOASIS across the southern hemisphere. Meanwhile, a new UK-based tribute act adopted and trademarked the NOASIS name. So now, whenever Darren and the original boys return to England, they perform as OurKid.

Now, in 2026, it’s been 30 years since that legendary first show at The Old Bell Hotel — and they’re coming home to celebrate where it all started.

Join OurKid, alongside special guests and support acts, for a huge night of Oasis anthems delivered by arguably the longest-standing Oasis experience in the world — and widely regarded as the World’s No.1 Oasis tribute show.
