Derby Folk Festival returns to the city centre from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October 2026, celebrating 20 years of fantastic folk events in the heart of Derby.

Taking place across the Cathedral Quarter, including The Old Bell Hotel, Derby Museums’ Wardwick and Chapel Street Arts Centre, the festival brings together a packed weekend of live music, dance, workshops, crafts and community celebration.

Whether you’re a long-time folk fan or simply looking for a great weekend out in Derby, the festival offers a brilliant mix of ticketed concerts and free events, with plenty happening across the city centre.
