Spring at The Old Bell Hotel

Tuesday 21st March

A Special Spring at The Old Bell

Spring is finally here and we have some special plans at The Old Bell this season. With great events, new and exciting drinks and even more to see The Old Bell Hotel is the place to be this spring.

Mother’s Day

We have a big month approaching here at the Old bell Hotel. Mother’s Day is right around the corner which is always special with us. We like to go that extra mile for our dear old mums, so as usual along with sprucing the place up with some beautiful daffodils and cooking up the best Sunday roast in town, we will be giving out a free gift for every mum. So why not treat her with us this year.

Events

Also coming up is the fantastic 2Q festival, which is a must for all music lovers. Our beautiful ballroom will be put to use hosting a number of bands and artists. This is the 2nd year we have hosted gigs for this festival and last year was a riot and a big success so look out for that on the 1st April.

Real Ale & Craft Beers

To keep things interesting on the Tavern bar we have decided to dedicate one of our pumps as a guest line and are constantly on the lookout for tasty and interesting beers. Currently we have American beer Anchor Steam in residence. Anchor Steam is a beautiful deep amber colour with a creamy head and has a gorgeous distinctive flavour, it’s been going down a treat. You may have just missed out on Beavertown’s Neck oil which sold out fast! So keep your eyes peeled to see what’s coming on next. The Tavern has fast become a go to place for fans of craft beer.

Gin & Whisky Bar

Likewise, our Tudor Bar has become a haven for lovers of Gin and Whisky. We’ve increased our selection of boutique gins, new tonics such as Fever Tree and we have garnishes galore. You’ve not tried Gin until you’ve tried it with crystallised violet and dried hibiscus!  But don’t worry all you whisky lovers, our top selection of whisky is still there, in fact it’s even bigger than ever. And it’s that time of year where our beautiful historic 17th century courtyard can be put to some use once again, so fingers crossed for some spring sunshine and you’ll soon be sipping your gin and tonics while catching some rays.
